Jihaad for Women.

Q; which type of jìhad do we call stopin discimination and tribalism.secondly what type of jihad can felame do? A; All-Praise is due to Allah, Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Jihaad is of four stages: jihaad al-nafs (striving against the self), jihaad al-shayaateen (striving against the shayaateen or devils), jihaad al-kuffaar (striving against the disbelievers) and jihaad al-munaafiqeen (striving against the hypocrites). (Zaad al-Ma’aad 3/9-12) Discrimination occurs mostly when one falsely accuses the other of something, or is from jealousy. Thus this all comes from ones desires which entails Jihaad Al-Nafs. As for tribalism this be categorised into the areas of creed (Aqedah) which entails Jihaad Ash-Shaytaan. In regards to Jihaad for women, it was reported that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: I said, O Messenger of Allaah, do women have to do any kind of jihaad? He said, “Yes, they have to do the kind of jihaad in which there is no fighting: Hajj and ‘Umrah.” (Reported by Ahmad, 6/68; Ibn Maajah, 2/968). It was also reported that she said: O Messenger of Allaah, we see that jihaad is the best of deeds. Can we not engage in jihaad? He said, “But the best of jihaad is an accepted Hajj.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 6/67’ al-Bukhaari, 2/141). And Allah knows best...
